Bad Breath

Foul doggie breath is not something that you should just assume that you have to live with. Your dog shouldn’t have bad breath. If you notice that your dog’s breath has a foul smell then something could be wrong.
Bad breath can be a sign of gum disease or a bad tooth. Dogs can have all the same dental problems that people can. And, just like humans the best action is in preventative care. Regularly brushing your dog’s teeth will help to keep them healthy. You can also give them bones – chewing on bones is how dogs would naturally try to keep their teeth clean. There are some bones that are made specifically to help clean your dog’s teeth. Your vet will also have doggie mouth wash that you can add to their water to help with bad breath. These are not teeth brushing substitutes but they will help prevent dental issues and curb bad breath.
